Two Witnesses

As the woman was standing before the man, the man was looking at the crowd, nodding his head "Yes" with a huge smile on his face as if he was approving of this woman to the crowd.
After he was done smiling at the crowd, the woman took both her hands and placed them on the each side of the man's face and kissed him. The crowd all gasped because that wasn't normally done.
It was my job to get this man and woman to a place of safety. I don't know where we were going but I knew it would be a place of safety and there were two other men helping me.
As we were traveling to this place of safety, we came to a basket ball court and the man and woman stopped to play basketball on this court.
I sat in the stands and there was a crowd of people watching them play basketball and I heard someone in the crowd say that this man and woman are...
"witnesses and these two witnesses have been in hiding with their tribes."
As soon as I heard this, I knew we were in trouble and I knew the enemy would be coming at them full force.
I had some loaded rifles sitting next to the stand we were sitting in. I went and grabbed one and brought it to one of the men who were helping me guard the man and woman. I handed him the rifle and the trigger was not on the rifle, it was just hanging off the rifle. He tried to put it back into the rifle and he couldn't do it, so I grabbed the rifle and started putting the trigger back into the rifle.
As I was doing this, the enemy starting shooting several shots at us and then I saw a pickup truck that looked like it was backing out of a driveway, and the enemy fired one shot and shattered the back window as it hit it and it went between the two people the driver and the passenger in the pick up. It didn't hit the two people. I did not see who these two people were.
Right after I got the trigger in the gun, the enemy came at me on foot. He had a gun in his hands but did not shoot at me but he attacked me physically instead and it happened so fast, I did not have time to shoot him with my gun.
We wrestled to the ground and I was on top of him. I took the rifle butt and struck him in the head and neck several times but it did not seem to hurt him.
