Omer Count for the 18th of the Hebrew Month Nissan
DAILY PRAYER FOR THE COUNTING OF THE OMER:
Each day, one says the blessing:
Blessed are YOU, YAHUVEH our ELOHIM, KING OF THE UNIVERSE, WHO has saved & sanctified us with YAHUSHUA'S [JESUS CHRIST] BLOOD, filled us with HIS RUACH HA KODESH [HOLY SPIRIT], and has commanded us to count the omer.
Today is the Third day of the Omer.
YAH the MERCIFUL ONE, may HE send YAHUSHUA to return to us quickly in our days in YAHUSHUA’S NAME, AMEN!
Day 3 Omer Reading:
Week 1 Attribute 1 - Love/Ahava And Kindess/Chesed
30 And you shall love the YAHUVEH your ELOHIM out of and with your whole heart and out of and with all your soul (your life) and out of and with all your mind (with your faculty of thought and your moral understanding) and out of and with all your strength. This is the first and principal commandment. [Deut. 6:4, 5].
31 The second is like it and is this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these. [Lev. 19:18].
Another expression of the same idea is the following: "What message did the Torah bring to Israel?" Take upon yourselves the yoke of the kingdom of heaven, vie one with the other in the fear of YAH and practice loving deeds towards one another” (Deut. 323;138b)
43 "You have heard that our fathers were told, 'Love your neighbor-and hate your enemy.' 44 But I tell you, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! 45 Then you will become children of your Father in heaven. For he makes his sun shine on good and bad people alike, and he sends rain to the righteous and the unrighteous alike.
Probably the greatest challenge we face daily as Messianic Believers is to walk in love with others, especially those outside the household of YAH. It is easy to love those who love you, but the challenge comes when we are told to love those who hate us. But if we are going to be true followers of Messiah YAHUSHUA, then this needs to be a priority in our lives.
What did YAHUSHUA say about how we should walk, He was and still is the greatest Torah teacher that every lived because He Is The Livingn Torah and showed us how we should walk and live in the RUACH/SPIRIT.
13 For you, brethren, were [indeed] called to freedom; only [do not let your] freedom be an incentive to your flesh and an opportunity or excuse [for selfishness], but through love you should serve one another. 14 For the whole torah [concerning human relationships] is complied with in the one precept, You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself. [Lev. 19:18].
15 But if you bite and devour one another [in partisan strife], be careful that you [and your whole fellowship] are not consumed by one another.
16 But I say, walk and live [habitually] in the [HOLY] RUACH/SPIRIT [responsive to and controlled and guided by the Spirit]; then you will certainly not gratify the cravings and desires of the flesh (of human nature without GOD).
Help me today to be the servant you want me to be, and purge me from the works of the flesh that I might serve my brothers and sisters In Messiah YAHUSHUA.
Pray Psalm 23
YAH is the Shepherd of His People
A Psalm of David.
23 YAH is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
3 He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell[a] in the house of YAH
