Companies behind Miss Cleo's psychic hot line agreed 11.14.2002 to
forgive $500 million in customer bills to settle a federal lawsuit alleging they
fleeced callers hoping to glimpse the future. Also agreed to stop selling their
alleged soothsaying services over the phone. Will also pay the government a $5
million fine. The companies did not admit breaking any law but agreed to stop
the phone service and forgive about $500 million in outstanding charges. They
also must return all uncashed checks to customers. During three years of
operation the service charged people about $1 billion and collected half of it.

Miss Cleo, You Are Sinning Against YAHUVEH
But Guess What! YAHUSHUA Messiah Still Loves You!
We've seen your ads all over TV, telling us how we can call the number on our
screen and, with only a credit card in hand, we can find out what our future
holds. It appears that you can tell a caller anything and everything they need
to know based on how the Tarot cards come up.
What's Wrong With Fortune Telling?
Is there anything wrong with this?
YES!
Isn't fortune telling just entertainment, for fun, without hurting anyone?
NO!
Fortune telling, through the use of Tarot cards or psychic ability or in any
manner, is strictly forbidden by YAHUVEH. Read what He has to say about this kind
of activity…
Deuteronomy 18:10-12a
There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter
to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or
an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or
a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto
the YAHUVEH [YAHUVEH].
Miss Cleo, we know you have rejected the Truth of YAHUSHUA Messiah and the above
warning, and have given yourself over to seducing spirits. This is satanic. It
appears that you have been playing your trade for a long time, given how quickly
you come up with answers to the callers' questions. You do know, of course, that
you get all your answers from demons.
All those who have called you, or consulted with any fortune teller or psychic,
have sinned and opened themselves to demonic possession!
We read in the Old Testament about Saul the first king of Israel, a YAHUVEH
fearing man, who at one time killed all the witches and sorcerers. However, when
he did wrong, YAHUVEH turned HIS face away from him.
When Saul wanted to fight with the Philistines, he sought YAHUVEH's counsel, but
HE did not answer Saul. Instead of soul searching and repenting from his sins in
the presence of YAHUVEH, Saul asked a woman (sorcerer) to call the spirit of
Samuel (who was a great prophet of YAHUVEH, and was dead at the time). The woman
called Samuel's spirit for the king to counsel. When Samuel's spirit was called,
he said: Why have you called and distressed me? This false spirit was an evil
one that had showed himself as Samuel's spirit.
Mediums or sorcerers absolutely have no access to call the spirits of dead
people, any manifestation belongs to evil spirits and their job is deceiving the
people and bringing them under the curse of YAHUVEH to get control over them and
their offspring. This wrong doing was the reason YAHUVEH turned HIS face from
Saul, took away his kingship and gave it to David. Saul died in his sin.
We pray that no one reading this, who is a Christian, has fallen prey to your
seducing spirits and called for a reading. If they have, they have sinned a
great sin and they had better get on their knees, confess this sin to the
YAHUVEH, and ask for his forgiveness. Don't be deceived! If you do not, the
YAHUVEH will hold this sin against you and you WILL face judgment for disobeying
Him.
Excerpt from "Hypnosis: Medical, Scientific, or Occultist" by Martin & Deidre
Bobgan...
"At its worst [hypnotism], it opens an individual to psychic experiences and
satanic possession. When mediums go into hypnotic trances (see picture of Miss
Cleo in a trance below) and contact the 'dead' [demons], when clairvoyants
reveal information which they could not possibly know, when fortunetellers
through self-hypnosis reveal the future, Satan is at work.
Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness and the shamanic state of
consciousness. Satan transforms himself into an angel of light whenever
necessary to accomplish his schemes. If he can make an occult practice
(hypnotism) look beneficial through a false facade (medicine or science), he
will. It is obvious that hypnosis is lethal if used for evil purposes [and] is
potentially lethal for whatever purposes it is used. The moment one surrenders
himself to the doorway of the occult, even in the halls of science and medicine,
he is vulnerable to the powers of darkness."

soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Mark 8:36
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his
own soul?
Luke 9:25
For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or
be cast away?

VISITOR COMMENTS
"This sight is just plain CRAP. Miss Cleo isn't even a real psychic. How is she
a sinner? Other than the fact that she SCAMS people out of their money, she
hasn't done anything wrong. You religious people are just plain nuts."
RESPONSE
Miss Cleo is truly a psychic and what she is doing is wrong, not to mention the
way she and the company hosting her psychic hotline are ripping off people. See
the news article below. There is great spiritual deceit taking place right now.
We are raising the red flag to warn people about people like Miss Cleo. Emails
like the one above do not deter us from spreading the Gospel and making
information like this available. Wake up, dear ones. You are only one heartbeat
away from Eternity. Will you be spending it in Heaven, or Hell. You don't have
very much time to decide. Turn to YAHUSHUA Messiah, go to Heaven.

MISS CLEO SUED FOR FRAUD
Source: Associated Press
Published: July 25, 2001 Author: Paul Sloca
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) - Missouri's attorney general has filed lawsuits
against a television psychic hot line for allegedly violating the state's
no-call law and consumer fraud.
"Miss Cleo should have seen this coming," Attorney General Jay Nixon said. "It
doesn't take a crystal ball to realize that ripping off consumers isn't without
consequences."
Nixon filed two suits Tuesday against Access Resources Services Inc., a Florida
company best-known for promoting Miss Cleo's tarot psychic reading. Speaking
with a Caribbean accent, Miss Cleo appears in national television commercials
promising insights into love, money and other personal matters.
The lawsuits filed in St. Louis Circuit Court allege 94 violations of the
state's no-call list. The company faces fines of up to $5,000 per violation if
found liable for calling people who requested privacy.
Sean Moynihan, a New York City-based attorney representing Access, said the
state has no basis for suing the company.
"We strongly disagree with the contentions that are raised in the lawsuits,"
Moynihan said. "We are very anxious to work with the attorney general to
demonstrate that the business practices of Access are proper and do adhere to
the law."
Nixon said Missourians were billed for free services and that the company
misrepresented reduced rates and waiver fees. For example, customers spent three
minutes on the phone providing information including a name, address and phone
number then were charged for time spent on hold waiting to speak with a psychic.
Missouri residents who never requested the service, including deceased people,
have received bills for Miss Cleo's services, Nixon said. Moynihan said
telephone companies are responsible for billing, not the company.
The company also charged consumers for calls made by minors who did not receive
parental consent, Nixon said. Moynihan said the company has safeguards to
prevent minors from calling, and only those who lie about their age can get
through to the psychic.
Mark Pryor, Arkansas' attorney general, sued Access last year for alleged fraud,
saying the company had "used just about every trick in the book to mislead and
overbill consumers."
