Many times people have said to me that women are not allowed to teach based on
scriptures, yet the Bible refers to women as leaders, prophets and even
ministers. There were even women sages. How can this contradiction exist?
Something in our understanding must be in error. The Bible can be confusing to
read because it was not written in English and we have to rely on translators
and that things are translated correctly. Concordances can be useful in
determining what we really are reading.
The following passage does not speak against women teachers as one would think
at first glance but speaks about a women usurping her husband's authority.
I Timothy 2:11-12
Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection, But I suffer not a woman to
teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was
first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived
in the transgression.
Now we read what the above scripture says, but what does it really say? When we
look up the word woman in the Strong's Concordance we find that this use of
"women" is Strong's number 1135, The definition of this use of woman is "wife."
When we look up the word "man" we find that it is Strong's number 435, this use
of man means "husband."
Now if we insert the correct use of the word woman and man the passage now reads
as follows:
"Let the wife learn in silence with all subjection, But I suffer not a wife to
teach, nor to usurp authority over the husband, but to be in silence. For Adam
was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the wife being
deceived in the transgression."
We must be careful to make sure the translation that we read is what is really
being said.

You do very right...very!!!!! to speak for the persecuted...you are an excellent
example in so doing...may GOD bless you and use you to continue in many, many
ways for HIS use!!!
Please don't be offended, but as a fellow servant of Christ, I don't know what
the Rev. stands for, but it is a pastor role, I share only from the Bible, that
GOD has called men to do that, not women. Women have always been used of GOD,
but just not in that capacity, as there was never one woman priest or pastor in
the whole Bible. More importantly, the Bible says that this is not to be so in I
Corinthians 14:34, and I Timothy 2:11 just for starters...besides, the Bible
clearly says that men are to rule the household, not women, and in I Timothy 3:5
the unchanging Word of GOD, that endures forever says, "if a man does not know
how to rule his own house, how ill he take care of the church of GOD?"
...clearly this too unqualifies women from the pastorate, as women are not to
have this role either! the goal is this, be honest that it's not the culture of
the Bible that we read incorrectly into, but rather our very sin filled society
that taints our view of GOD's pure unchanging Word, including most of us in the
church! In I Peter 3, we see Peter using Sarah from 2000 years before his time
challenging all women to live as she did, submissively, and Why? because it is
how GOD made us as men and women, not cultures and times. HE made us all with
roles to fulfil (I Corinthians 11)! The goal is to be faithful in those roles in
this short life, and then HE will be able to elevate us, if faithful here, in
the next life, eternity!! Please pray, and search YAHUSHUA and HIS Word honestly
and most humbly and openly and I truly believe GOD will agree that this email is
not some brainwashed conservative, but an email that supports the truth of HIS
Word and HIS will! I pray GOD's blessing upon you in the name of the living
YAHUSHUA!
Lastly, please don't find me rude not to respond to emails, but this email has
had problems receiving emails since early January when the server made changes!
GOD bless you! Amen!

Answer:
Dear Brother in YAHUSHUA,
Thank You for your email. To address your first question regarding why Rev.
Elisheva calls herself Rev please read her testimony and it will explain that.
In regards to the issue about women not being called as pastors, prophets etc.
this is a lie from satan himself to divide the women and men in the church.
Satan knows that YAHUVEH speaks through and uses women to share HIS message and
what a better way to prevent the men from hearing YAHUVEH's voice than to divide
the women and men like this.
If we look at the Old Testament and study Judges 4: 4-14 we see that Deborah was
the Judge of Israel at this time which is a position of authority over ALL
Israel MEN included. Barak was a coward and would not lead Israel to battle
without her so YAHUVEH sent her to lead Israel into battle. YAHUVEH will use
whoever will be obedient to HIS will woman or man. Other examples of women
prophets are Miriam in Ex 15:20, Huldah in 2 Kings 22:14-20 who spoke "Thus
saith the LORD YAHUVEH of Israel" and Isaiah's wife in Is 8:3 as a prophet and
she conceived and bore a son. In the New Testament lets look at Acts 21:19
regarding the 4 virgin daughters who prophesied and Acts 2:17 where it states
"Your sons and daughters shall prophesy". In Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor
Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither MALE NOR FEMALE; for
you are all ONE in YAHUSHUA. This is very clear that YAHUVEH has used women to
speak forth his message and will continue to do so and YAHUVEH does not look at
gender.
The scriptures you refer to 1Cor 14:34, 1Tim 2:11and 1Tim 3:5. Please read our
teaching on our page titled "Are Women Called To Preach or Be An Apostle?" These
scriptures are clearly speaking of the role of a wife in a marriage not the role
of a woman speaking forth YAHUVEH's words and teaching HIS people and those that
are lost. 1Cor 11:3 says But I want you to know that the head of every man is
YAHUSHUA, the head of every woman is man, and the head of YAHUSHUA is YAHUVEH.
This scripture is also very clear as to the chain of command or roles that
YAHUVEH has established for HIS people. So we are in agreement to the role of
husband and wife in a Godly marriage. The husband submits his will to YAHUSHUA
and is held accountable by YAHUSHUA in all decisions made by the husband and the
wife submits her will to YAHUSHUA and her husband and trusts her husband that he
is seeking YAHUSHUA's will in everything. The RUACH Ha KODESH will confirm in the
spirit to both of them the same thing if they both are submitted and neither one
of them is in the flesh. If either husband or wife is in the flesh {their will}
they will not hear the same thing in the spirit as one is in the spirit and the
other in the flesh. If the husband or wife are not hearing the same thing in the
spirit they are to take it to YAHUVEH in prayer and YAHUVEH will settle it and
you both will know it. I learned this by experience. We must remember that we
are all human and at times our flesh will rear up its ugly head and it is the
responsibility of the husband or wife to humbly admit when they are wrong for
this is how YAHUVEH keeps us humble. We are not perfect Men or Women, only our
LORD and savior YAHUSHUA and YAHUVEH is perfect.
These are two different issues you speak of and must be addressed as such.
YAHUVEH has brought you to this ministry to teach you this and if you truly are
seeking the truth with all your heart you will hear YAHUVEH's voice and repent
and if you are puffed up with pride you will close your ears to this truth and
will be held accountable for what you now know. YAHUVEH already knows your
decision.
I pray that you take this message very seriously for this has divided YAHUVEH's
people far too long. I have been called to this ministry to be the spiritual
head of this ministry (meaning prayer covering for Elisheva) and a minister who
has been called by YAHUVEH to teach the men that women indeed can be used by
YAHUVEH in any way YAHUVEH so chooses. Who are we but mere men to think we can
tell YAHUVEH how YAHUVEH can use HIS daughters.
Read the "Bone of My Bones" poem and it will teach men how to be a Godly
husband. There are many prophecies spoken by YAHUVEH through Elisheva that will
answer a lot of men's questions regarding this also. Thank You for raising this
question, for many men have asked this and this answer will be posted on the
ministry site.
