Menorah For The First Day of Hanukkah!

Begin by clicking on the a day number of Hanukkah you wish to light a candle for. The candle on the center has already been lit, it represents YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH, The Light of the World!

First Night

Hag Sameach and Happy Hanukkah! Before you begin reading the blessings, I would like to give a brief explanation on why we are doing things different than other ministries. You will notice that we say all three blessings throughout the entire 8 days of Hanukkah. YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH convicted me in prayer as to why we would only say the 3rd blessing only on the 1st day of Hanukkah, and not throughout the entire 8 days. So therefore, we are saying all 3 blessings throughout all 8 days as we remember YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH was conceived on the 1st day of Hanukkah and born on the 1st day of Sukkot and of course the miracle of the oil that lasted 8 days.

You can hear and read the 3 blessings in Hebrew and in English by clicking on my picture on the bottom left hand corner. The blessings are also written down below in Hebrew and English so you can read and sing along.

YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH bless your Hanukkah and expect miracles from YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH. Hag Sameach! In YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACHS love, Apostle Prophet and Pastor Elisheva Eliyahu.

Prayers to be said during the time when the Menorah is lit

May it be YOUR will, YAHUVEH, my CREATOR and My ABBA in the name of YAHUSHUA, that this be a favorable time before YOU for the observance of the Chanukah lamp lighting, as a remembrance of the brightest light that YOU sent into this world, YOUR only begotten Son our YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH. And a reminder how HE was conceived around Hanukkah (and born nine months later around Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles).

This is another reason we celebrate the festival of lights. Oil lights go out after eight days. YAHUSHUA, the brightest light sent to this earth, the true living oil, will last for ETERNITY. We celebrate the miracle of both lights. YAHUSHUA is the LIVING MENORAH! An ETERNAL LIGHT that will NEVER go out!

Thank you YAHUSHUA for giving this revelation to me (Elisheva Eliyahu) on November 23rd, 2005. 'For it is You YAHUVEH who will light my lamp, in the the name of YAHUSHUA, who will illuminate my darkness.'

Dispatch YOUR light and truth, for we only seek YOUR truth through the RUACH HA KODESH (HOLY SPIRIT), that shall guide me to fear and love of Your Sacred Names, to study and keep and teach YOUR Holy Torah, the Written Torah, and the Oral Torah who came as the Word who is made flesh, your only begotten Son, YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH. With great diligence to give honor to YOUR blessed, exalted Name of YAHUVEH and YOUR Son, YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH.

By virtue of the Chanukah lights, make us wise through the living guiding light, YAHUSHUA, the living Torah. May this verse be fulfilled, as it is written: '"It shall not depart from your mouth, from the mouth of your children and from the mouth of your children's children", says YAHUVEH, "from now to eternity".' May my children and grandchildren be obedient to the HOLY TRINITY ABBA YAHUVEH YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH and the RUACH HA KODESH, YOUR Holy Word the Bible, and may You strengthen our resolve in obedience to the Torah and obedience to YOU, all according to YOUR good desire. May I deserve to see children and grandchildren engaging in the Torah and commandments with sincerity.

Uncover our eyes that we may perceive the wonders of YOUR Holy Word the Bible to define the truth of the Torah and its mysteries. Purify our hearts for Your service, distance us from evil and sinful thoughts, may our eyes see the return of YOUR beloved Son YAHUSHUA who will come and reign in Jerusalem as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, in YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH’S NAME.

Candle Blessings Recited All 8 Nights

First Blessing After Lighting Just the Shamash
Ba-rucha-tah Adonai E-lo-hei-nu, Mel-ech ha-olam,
Blessed are you O YAHUVEH our God, king of the universe,
Asher kideshanu be-mitzvotav,
Who has sanctified us by his Word,
ve-tzivanu le-hadlik ner shel Chanukah.
and instructed us to kindle the Chanukah lights.
Al Ha-Nissim

Blessed are YOU, Oh ABBA YAHUVEH who is our Creator, our HEAVENLY FATHER in HEAVEN, YOU are KING of the Universe who has sanctified us by HIS word and instructed us to kindle the Hanukkah lights and do this in remembrance.

(Recited all eight nights)

Ha-ne-roth hal-la-lu, a-nach-nu mad-li-kin al ha-nis-sim,
We kindle these lights on account of the miracles,
v’al hat-shu-oth v’al ha-nif-la-oth she-o-see-ta la-avo-tei-nu,
the deliverances and the wonders which You worked for our ancestral fathers,
al y’de ko-ha-ne-cho, hak-k’do-shim. V’chol sh’-mo-nath y’may
by means of Thy holy priests. During all the eight days of
chanu-kah, han-ne-roth hal-lo-lu ko-desh; v’ain lo-nu r’shuth
Chanukah these lights are sacred, neither is it permitted us to make any profane use of them
l’hish-ta-mesh bo-hem el-lo lir-o-tom bil-vad. K’de l’ho-doth,
but we are only to look at them, in order that we may give thanks
L’shim-cha al ni-se-cho, v’al y’shu-o-se-te-cho, v’al nif-l’o-te-cho
unto Thy name for Thy miracles, thy deliverences and thy wonders.

Second Blessing While Lighting The Menorah Candles With the Shamash
Ba-ruch a-tah Adonai E-lo-hei-nu, Mel-ech ha-olam,
Blessed are you O YAHUVEH our God, king of the universe,
she-a-sa si-sim la-a-avo-tei-nu ba-ya-mim ha-hem ba-ze-man ha-zeh
Who performed wondrous deeds for our fathers in days of old at this season.

Blessed are YOU, ABBA YAHUVEH our CREATOR, our HEAVENLY FATHER, KING of the universe, who performed miracles for our forefathers in those days and who will continue to give us miracles and deliverance from the reprobate enemies’ hands at this time of Hanukkah. Hanukkah in Hebrew means dedication. Hanukkah means deliverance and miracles and we have 8 days that we can rejoice and wait. When you’re lighting those Hanukkah oil lanterns or Hanukkah candles, just expect miracles, ask forgiveness in YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH'S NAME then you go to the FATHER ABBA YAHUVEH and you ask what you will. And if its HIS will, we believe in miracles and it will happen and HE will deliver us once again from the hands of the enemies who seek our destruction

Third Blessing
Shehekiyanu

Ba-ruch a-tah Adonai E-lo-hei-nu, Mel-ech ha-olam,
Blessed are you O YAHUVEH our God, king of the universe,
she-he-che-ya-nu ve-ki-ye-ma-nu ve-hi-gi-a-nu la-ze-man ha-zeh
for giving us life, for sustaining us, and for enabling us to reach this season.

Blessed are You, Oh ABBA YAHUVEH our CREATOR, our HEAVENLY FATHER, KING of the universe, who has granted us life, provided for us, who has given us this revelation that YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH is the living Menorah, the living Torah, the word that was made flesh as we celebrate this feast of dedication on this festival of lights as we honor the eternal light YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH.

The desire of our heart is to be a light so we can lead souls to YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH. No flesh can be saved except through the name and the blood of YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH. Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, in which we must be saved!"

YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH is the only blood atonement for people who confess, repent and turn away from their sins.

YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH was crucified and was accused of Blasphemy by saying HE is the Son of GOD YAHUVEH, and on the third day arose from the dead.

YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH did more miracles than any book could hold until HE ascended into HEAVEN on the 40th day before many witnesses Acts 1:3 He presented himself alive to them after his suffering by many proofs, appearing to them during forty days and speaking about the kingdom of God.

Matthew 4:17 From that time YAHUSHUA began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

Below is a reminder of all of the ways YAHUVEH delivered our Jewish ancestors as written in the Holy Scriptures:

These lights we kindle upon the miracles, the wonders, the salvation, through YAHUSHUA and His gift at calvary, and the battles which You performed for our forefathers in those days at this season through Your holy priests. During all eight days of Chanukah these lights are sacred, and we are not permitted to make ordinary use of them, but only to look at them in order to express thanks and praise to Your great Name for Your miracles, Your wonders and Your salvation.

I.
O mighty stronghold of my salvation, YAHUSHUA,
to praise You is a delight.
Restore my House of Prayer
and there we will bring a thanksgiving offering.
When You will have prepared the slaughter
for the blaspheming foe,
Then I shall complete with a song of hymn
the dedication of the altar.

II.
My soul had been sated with troubles,
my strength has been consumed with grief.
They had embittered my life with hardship,
with the calf-like kingdom's bondage.
But with His great power
He brought forth the treasured ones,
Pharaoh's army and all his offspring
went down like a stone into the deep.

III.
To the holy abode of His Word He brought me.
But there, too, I had no rest
And an oppressor came and exiled me.
For I had served Aliens,
And had drunk benumbing wine.
Scarcely had I departed
At Babylon's end Zerubabel came.
At the end of seventy years I was saved.

IV.
To sever the towering cypress
sought the Aggagite, son of Hammedatha,
But it became [a snare and] a stumbling block to him
and his arrogance was stilled.
The head of the Benjaminite You lifted
and the enemy, his name You obliterated
His numerous progeny - his possessions -
on the gallows You Hanged.

V.
Greeks gathered against me
then in Hasmonean days.
They breached the walls of my towers
and they defiled all the oils;
And from the one remnant of the flasks
a miracle was wrought for the roses.
Men of insight - eight days
established for song and jubilation.

VI.
Bare Your holy arm, YAHUVEH,
and hasten the End for salvation -
Avenge the vengeance of Your servants' blood
from the wicked nation.
For the triumph is too long delayed for us,
and there is no end to days of evil,
Repel the evil one in the nethermost shadow
and establish for us the seven shepherds.

Scripture Readings for Hanukkah - First Night

Numbers 7:1-17
When Moses finished setting up the tabernacle, he anointed it and consecrated it and all its furnishings. He also anointed and consecrated the altar and all its utensils. Then the leaders of Israel, the heads of families who were the tribal leaders in charge of those who were counted, made offerings. They brought as their gifts before YAHUVEH six covered carts and twelve oxen--an ox from each leader and a cart from every two. These they presented before the tabernacle.

YAHUVEH said to Moses, "Accept these from them, that they may be used in the work at the Tent of Meeting. Give them to the Levites as each man's work requires." So Moses took the carts and oxen and gave them to the Levites. He gave two carts and four oxen to the Gershonites, as their work required, And he gave four carts and eight oxen to the Merarites, as their work required. They were all under the direction of Ithamar son of Aaron, the priest. But Moses did not give any to the Kohathites, because they were to carry on their shoulders the holy things, for which they were responsible.

When the altar was anointed, the leaders brought their offerings for its dedication and presented them before the altar. For YAHUVEH had said to Moses, "Each day one leader is to bring his offering for the dedication of the altar." The one who brought his offering on the first day was Nahshon son of Amminadab of the tribe of Judah. His offering was one silver plate weighing a hundred and thirty shekels, and one silver sprinkling bowl weighing seventy shekels, both according to the sanctuary shekel, each filled with fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering; One gold dish weighing ten shekels, filled with incense; One young bull, one ram and one male lamb a year old, for a burnt offering; One male goat for a sin offering; And two oxen, five rams, five male goats and five male lambs a year old, to be sacrificed as a fellowship offering. This was the offering of Nahshon son of Amminadab.

Genesis 1:2-5
Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning--the first day.

Genesis 1:14-18
And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, And let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth." And it was so. God made two great lights--the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth, To govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good.

John 1:1-13
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. There came a man who was sent from God; his name was John. He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all men might believe. He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God-- Children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.

John 10:22-40
It was the Feast of Hanukkah at Yerushalayim. It was winter, and YAHUSHUA was walking in the temple, in Shlomo's porch. The Yehudim therefore came around him and said to him, "How long will you hold us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly. "YAHUSHUA answered them, "I told you, and you don't believe. The works that I do in my Father's name, these testify about me. But you don't believe, because you are not of my sheep, as I told you.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of my Father's hand. I and the Father are one. "Therefore, Yehudim took up stones again to stone him. YAHUSHUA answered them, "I have shown you many good works from my Father. For which of those works do you stone me? "The Yehudim answered him, "We don't stone you for a good work, but for blasphemy: because you, being a man, make yourself God.

"YAHUSHUA answered them, "Isn't it written in your law, 'I said, you are gods? 'If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture can't be broken), Do you say of him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, 'You blaspheme,' because I said, 'I am the Son of GOD YAHUVEH?' If I don't do the works of my Father, don't believe me. But if I do them, though you don't believe me, believe the works; that you may know and believe that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.

"They sought again to seize him, and he went out of their hand. He went away again beyond the Yarden into the place where Yochanan was immersing at first, and there he stayed. Many came to him. They said, "Yochanan indeed did no sign, but everything that Yochanan said about this man is true." Many believed in him there.
